Ownership of intellectual property

All intellectual property in the Lumanora platform, our models, our written content and our brand is owned by or licensed to Lumanora, and is protected by copyright, trademark, database and trade secret law.

Misuse, resale or redistribution without our written permission is prohibited and may be met with injunctive relief and a claim for damages.

What is protected

Without limitation: our classification, duty and landed-cost models and the methodology behind them; our document frameworks and templates; the platform, its interfaces and its APIs; our written, visual and data content; and the Lumanora name, logo and brand identity.

Trademarks and brand

The Lumanora name, logo and associated marks are ours. They may not be used without our prior written consent.

All other product and company names on this site are trademarks of their respective holders. Use of them does not imply affiliation or endorsement, in either direction.

Limited licence to clients

We grant clients a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to use the platform and its outputs for their own internal business purposes, conditional on compliance with our terms and on payment of fees.

No ownership passes to you. The licence ends on termination or breach.

Prohibited uses

You may not: exploit our materials commercially outside your own internal use; copy or adapt them into derivative works; remove proprietary notices; reverse engineer the platform; use it to build a competing product; share access or outputs with third parties beyond your group; or represent our work as your own.

Consequences of unauthorised use

Unauthorised use is a serious matter. We reserve the right to terminate the licence, seek injunctive relief, recover damages with interest, and recover our legal costs.

Feedback

If you send us a suggestion, we may use it. You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to incorporate feedback into the services, with no obligation to you and no compensation. Do not send us anything you consider confidential.

Reporting infringement

We respect other people's intellectual property and expect the same. If you believe something in the services infringes your rights, email [email protected] with enough detail to identify the material and the right you rely on, and we will review it.

Reservation of rights

Any right not expressly granted here is reserved. Nothing in the services should be read as granting a licence by implication or estoppel.
